This is a list of things I believe everyone should watch at least once and reasons as to why
"Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are hitmen with a penchant for philosophical discussions. In this ultra-hip, multi-strand crime movie, their storyline is interwoven with those of their boss, gangster Marsellus Wallace; his actress wife, Mia; struggling boxer Butch Coolidge; master fixer Winston Wolfe and a nervous pair of armed robbers, "Pumpkin" and "Honey Bunny"."
I just really enjoy the entire mood throughout the film. Paired with the non-linear storytelling makes it stand out from other films. The styling stays consistent all the way through the film, with lots of small nods towards other pieces of media such as Tarantino's other works and works that he admires.
"Illegal boxing promoter Turkish (Jason Statham) convinces gangster Brick Top to offer bets on bare-knuckle boxer Mickey at his bookie business. When Mickey does not throw his first fight as agreed, an infuriated Brick Top demands another match. Meanwhile, gangster Frankie Four Fingers comes to place a bet for a friend with Brick Top's bookies, as multiple criminals converge on a stolen diamond that Frankie has come to London to sell."
Snatch is an interesting film as it has had quite a large impact on pop culture despite (in my opinion) lacking slightly in the storyline and actual content. It is an experience to watch for the first time and has a lot of memorable scenes like this:
"The Matrix depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside a simulated reality, the Matrix, created by intelligent machines to distract humans while using their bodies as an energy source. When computer programmer Thomas Anderson, under the hacker alias "Neo", uncovers the truth, he 'is drawn into a rebellion against the machines' along with other people who have been freed from the Matrix."
I think that everyone should watch it just because it is interesting and creates a few concepts which are very interesting to research. It makes you wonder about your own life and question the boundries of the world around you.
